    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT is a short-term, problem-focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people draw connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Once able to identify the different categories a person will be able to challenge one’s way of interpreting the events in their life. Therefore, be able to better chose a response to different life circumstances.

    Motivational Interviewing

    A kind approach to therapeutic conversation, Motivational Interviewing (MI) is utilized to help understand how much of a desire YOU have for change. We use reflective questions, identify the different stages of change, and work together to better understand what guides us to move to grow in our own lives

    Reality Therapy

    Ever want to work with a therapist who “tells it like it is”? Well, look no further. In reality therapy I will be able to have an honest conversation with you about concerns in your own life. Using documented therapeutic skills, I will be able to help navigate you through different areas of concerns utilizing reality focus lenses This type of therapy is best used when there is an established rapport of respect and care for the client. Reality therapy allows for both you and myself as your therapist, be authentic with experiences in daily life.
