    The first big step has been accomplished. You have spent time googling local therapist hoping one may be able to help you with your deepest concerns. Now the next question, which therapist is right for you?

    As a therapist my goal is to help my client reach a level of authenticity in life that often feels out of reach. I aim to do this by utilizing several different theoretical perspectives including, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Basically, I help clients learn to identify, accept, and value their own emotions so that they can lead fulfilling lives with those who matter most to them. So often we as a society look for ways to avoid emotions that are a part of everyday life. My goal is to empower each client to have the courage to be present in life and experience the gift of access to a range of emotions.

    My presentation allows me to be versatile for a special type of client. I am a big believer in modeling the behavior I hope to help my clients with which includes being my authentic self. What does that mean? I am not scared to experience emotions with you in your journey. That could mean we may laugh, yell, or cry together during any given session. All are beautiful and part of your own emotional growth. I work best with those clients that value an honest and forward approach, where we can work together towards your identified goals.
